Fixed fee - If you are not sure whether you require one of the below services then we can offer an initial meeting up to 60 minutes for a fixed fee of £200 + vat. If you then instruct us on one of the below services the fixed fee paid will be deducted from the fee quoted below.
Simple probate service to include IHT 205 - fixed fee of £1,500 + vat. This fee does not include any disbursements such as the application fee and cost of each additional copy.
Simple probate service to include IHT 400 - we would need to consider the size of the estate prior to providing a fixed fee quote, this will usually range from £2,000 + VAT to £2,500 + vat but would be confirmed with you during the initial appointment. This fee does not include any disbursements such as for the application fee and cost for each additional copy.
Full probate service - The cost will usually be a fixed between 2% - 3% plus VAT of the gross value of an estate.
If this option is not appropriate due to the estate not being overly complex or time-consuming, then we can offer alternative fixed prices but these are estate specific and usually start at £3,000 + VAT.
The above do not include any disbursements such as the application fee and cost for each additional copy, advertising, property transfer or property sale costs. Disbursements will be discussed at the initial meeting and be confirmed in writing.
Contentious probate - In relation to contentious probate issues, it is best to have an initial meeting with a solicitor to discuss matters and decide upon the best course of action.
We offer an initial meeting up to 60 minutes for contentious probate matters for a fixed fee of £200 + VAT. Thereafter, as per the costs of the solicitor that you instruct. This hourly rate, invoice structure, and anticipated costs will be discussed with you at the initial meeting.
We offer a fixed fee conveyancing tailored to your needs so that there are no nasty surprises for you and so that you can proceed with certainty and piece of mind. We have outlined below some of our fixed fee structures; however, we will provide you with a tailored quote when you instruct us.
Purchase Costs:
The fixed fee will cover all of the work required to complete the purchase of your new home, including dealing with registration at the Land Registry and dealing with the payment of Stamp Duty Land Tax (Stamp Duty) if the property is in England, or Land Transaction Tax (Land Tax) if the property you wish to buy is in Wales.
Conveyancer's fees and disbursements

- Electronic money transfer fee = £36 per transfer
- Acting for the mortgage company (if applicable) = £220 inc. VAT
- Leasehold fee (if purchasing a leasehold property) = 340 inc. VAT

- Shared Ownership fee (if applicable) = £380 inc. VAT
- New Build fee (if applicable) = £360 inc. VAT
Disbursements
- Search fees – Local Authority = £114.
- Disbursements (for obtaining Official copies and other documents) = approx. £40.
- Any additional disbursements that the purchase requires such as survey or expert fees.
Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as Land Registry fees. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process. Disbursements depend on many factors such as whether you wish to obtain a full structural survey or in the event the Local Authority Search highlights issues that result in our advising are investigated further by way of expert report. We cannot therefore assess what disbursements are required at the beginning of the transaction.
Stamp Duty Land Tax (on a purchase)
This depends on the purchase price of your property. You can calculate the amount you will need to pay by using HMRC's website or if the property is located in Wales by using the Welsh Revenue Authority's website.
Sale Costs:
The fixed fee will cover all of the work required to complete the sale of your home.

Divorce
You can apply for a divorce online by yourself and only need to pay the Court fee of £593.
We offer a fixed fee service in respect of your divorce:
- Legal fee for Applicant - £1,000 + VAT – on the basis that the divorce is not defended.
- Legal fee for Respondent - £450 + VAT
Disbursements
- Court fee = £593
- Clean break consent order – if agreed £500 + VAT and court fee £58
- Process server fee – if your spouse does not respond to the divorce, the fee varies but is usually between £100 - £200 + VAT.
Matrimonial Finances
We offer an initial meeting up to 60 minutes for matters involving matrimonial finances for a fixed fee of £200 + VAT. Thereafter, as per the costs of the solicitor that you instruct. This hourly rate, invoice structure, and anticipated costs will be discussed with you at the initial meeting.
Pre-Nuptial Agreement
Our fixed fee Pre-Nuptial Agreement costs £800 + VAT
Included in this fixed fee is:

Child Contact
We offer an initial meeting up to 60 minutes for matters involving matrimonial finances for a fixed fee of £200 + VAT. Thereafter, as per the costs of the solicitor that you instruct. This hourly rate, invoice structure, and anticipated costs will be discussed with you at the initial meeting.
Change of Name Deed
We offer a fixed fee for drafting a Change of Name Deed of £200 + VAT of £40 (total £240). This fixed fee is for the initial meeting and for drafting the final Deed. You will be provided with certified copies, it is your responsibility to send it to the relevant organisations yourself.
